Church of "St. Anthonyy Paduanski"

The construction of the parish church "St. Anthonyy Paduanski“ in Belene began in 1898 and the church was built in 1902 by Bishop Mons Henrik Dulce of Nikopol. In 1925 the building was renovated and in 2005 the abseiling was decorated with frescoes. The parish is cared for by priests of the Congregation of Passionists and sisters of the Congregation of Saint Joseph of the Apparition.
