In memory of those who died in the 1912-1918 wars, a monument was built in the square in the centre of the town in front of the then community centre. The idea for the monument was given in 1915, but active collection of funds began in 1925. The monument was consecrated in 1938 - on one side of the monument is a bronze figure of a soldier, and on the other side are inscribed the names of 219 dead citizens of Lyaslovets.
