Museum on Gurbetchiya Gardening

The Museum of Gurbetchiya Gardening is the only one of its kind in Bulgaria, and the amazing history of Bulgarian gardeners who conquered Europe and the world in the 19th and 20th centuries begins here. In the period 1973-1976, the local committee and a scientific committee led by Dr. Vasil Mutafov created the unique exposition of the Museum, which traces the path of the gardeners, their way of life and sheds light on this difficult and unknown craft. The museum itself is an authentic 19th century revival house. The exhibition tells the story of Bulgarian gardeners, with original documents and banners of the gardening societies.
