Exhibition of arts and crafts

The exhibition was established in 1971 and is located in several buildings, which are divided into 9 halls. Here you can see objects made by craftsmen from different parts of Bulgaria and not only. Several of the halls are dedicated to crafts, art and traditions from other countries, with interesting objects from foreign cultures on display. It is the only one in the country whose exhibition halls display unique items of folk arts and crafts made by distinguished craftsmen from all ethnographic regions of Bulgaria. The whole exhibition complex is situated in a wonderful park of 50 dka. The National Exhibition is unique both for the exhibits and for the opportunity for visitors to actually participate in the making of handicrafts and objects. In each hall there is a demonstration area where everyone can not only watch how folk craft objects are made, but also try their hand at the typical crafts of the region - pottery, wood carving, pyrography and weaving.
