Botev Peak

In the middle of the Sredna Stara Planina, like a huge dome rises Botev Peak, and looking from its foot, it looks like a giant fist. Botev Peak is 2 376 m high and is the highest peak in the Stara Planina mountain and the third highest in Bulgaria. Botev Peak occupies a central position in the National Park "Central Balkan", and on the slopes of the peak there are large drifts that form mountain streams and waterfalls known as the Praskalata.
