Feast of St. Spyridon, patron saint of craftsmen

Traditionally, on December 12, the Museum of Crafts - Troyan and the Association of Masters of Folk Arts and Crafts - Troyan Branch, the National Exhibition of Crafts in the village of Oreshak and the National School of Applied Arts "Prof. Venko Kolev" - Troyan organise events to honor the patron saint of potters St. Spyridon. An integral part of the celebration is the craftsmen's procession to St. Paraskeva Church and the exhibitions of local craftsmen in Troyan and Oreshak. The charity bazaar of handicraft works, arranged in front of the building of the Museum of Crafts, has also become a tradition.
