The locality of Beklemeto

20 km away from the town of Troyan in the highest part of the pass Troyan - Karnare is situated the locality Beklemeto. The locality is endowed with the charms of the mountain nature and covered with historical events and remains of the distant past, it is a place suitable for every nature and history lover. In the locality there is the so-called Kartsov Beech, a tree over 200 years old, 21 m high and associated with the historic passage of Russian army during the Russo-Turkish War of Liberation.
