Festival "Gift of Nature"

The "Gift of Nature" festival is now included in the National Calendar of the European Year of Cultural Heritage. It was launched in 2013 as an idea of the activists from the community center "Hristo Botev - 1928" in the village of Govedartsi and the mayor, who put Bulgarian folklore and nature on a pedestal. The festival brings together folklore groups from the community center in the municipality of Samokov and the country, and the festival is organized by the community center in the village of Govedartsi, the Govedartsi Town Hall and the financial support of the municipality of Samokov.

Nature is the greatest master of beauty and richness and remains unsurpassed in every respect and gives us everything we need, we only need to protect it and not destroy what it offers us.

Since 2015, the event has gone national, the nature in the municipality is amazing and produces wonderful gifts - fruits, vegetables, herbs and what not - there is everything you need to have fun and during the festival there is food, crafts, songs and dances.

Guests of the festival can enjoy the bazaar of eco products - potatoes, honey, milk, cheese, cottage cheese, berry jams, herbs, as well as amazing carvings, paintings, needlework to the sounds and rhythms of the concert of the ensembles of the municipality.
