Chakar's feasts

The Municipality of Samokov and the Club of Historical Weapons Lovers "Chakar Voyvoda" - Samokov, arranges Chakar's feasts every year, which are held on Chakar's Meadow. The program includes a grand opening, historical reenactments with a live picture of episodes from the work of Chakar Voyvoda with the participation of patriotic clubs, distribution of kurban for health, folklore concert, recreation of folk customs, exhibition of local dishes and exhibits from the region, folk wrestling with attractive prizes.
