Community centre "Otets Paisii 1910" was founded on 12.09.1910, and its appearance was prepared by remarkable local artists, some of them of national importance. Many historians and local historians prove that the village of Dospey is the birthplace of Paisii Hilendarski, and also the second Samokov transcription of Paisii's history was made by Aleksi Velkovich Popovich. It is the origin of the founder of the famous Samokov art school during the Renaissance - Hristo Dimitrov, the father of Zachary Zograf.
However, the just started community centre activity was interrupted by three wars, in which 16 inhabitants of the village of Dospey died, including community centre members. In 1930, the work of the community centre was revived and in 1940, thanks to hundreds of days of work by the local inhabitants, the first village community centre building in the Samokov region was completed. Many books were bought for the library, literary evenings and meetings with writers were organized, skits were performed, plays were staged, etc. On the initiative of Boris Kashamov a local history society was founded and the families of the village were studied.
The community centre has a Folk Dance Group, an Authentic Folklore Singing Group, a Patriotism Club, a Museum Collection, three Folklore Groups and a Vocal Group.
