Description
Protected zone “Central Balkan” is declared under both directives - for birds and for habitats, has a total area of 72 021,07 ha, falls within the scope of 9 municipalities, was declared in 2008 and has 6 objectives of designation. Under Article 6 (3), (4), (1) and (2), numerous animal and plant species and habitats are protected.
