Description
"Golyama reka" protected zone is located on the territory of the municipality of Strazhitsa and covers a total of 8 settlements, including the town of Strazhitsa. It was designated under the Habitats Directive in 2007, has a total area of 7 451,74 ha and the purpose of its designation is the protection of typical natural habitats and habitats of species and their populations.
