Tourist eco-trail "Zhalna" - village of Balkanets

A route information board is positioned in the centre of the village. The trail passes through the entire village in a southerly direction, and after about 2.5 km it reaches a sign, the beginning of the hiking eco-trail. The trail has a slight climb, continuing along the road to the "Kralimarkovski Bridge", then going right along it. The trail continues along the Jalna River, then at a big bend there is a signpost pointing in the right direction towards a steep slope. After climbing this slope, you reach the tourist village of Beklemeto and from there there there is a trail in reverse, which is connected to the Roman road "Via Traiana", which can be followed after 2-3 hours north again to reach the village of Balkanets.
