This church was built in 1866, and on the east side of the courtyard there is the following inscription "This church temple of St. Vasiliy of Caesarea was erected by the inhabitants of the surrounding area in 1866". By that time, the neighborhood of St. Vasil was part of the neighborhood St. Atanas. Before that, there was a cell built in 1856 on the site of the church, which served as a school. The 1913 earthquake demolished this church as well. It was rebuilt in 1914 by Yorgo Hadji Yankov. In the churchyard is buried the man hanged in 1872. Stoycho Kurkev. In 1934 the bell tower with a town clock was built with donated money.
