The Church of "St. St. Petar and Pavel" is a medieval church dedicated to Christ's apostles Peter and Pavel. The church was first surveyed in 1871 by Felix Kanitz. The building is small, its entrance is on the south side of the narthex, the nave inside is cruciform, with an altar apse. The high dome rises directly above the inner corners of the cross, and the narrow narthex was formerly two-storeyed. Outside, the walls have blind arches with decorative brickwork and white stone. Judging by the style of this decoration, the temple dates from the 14th century, making it one of the most important surviving works of medieval Bulgarian construction.
