Ivan Mankov was born in 1968 in Sevlievo and graduated from secondary school in Teteven in 1987. In 1996 he graduated in painting from the master class of Nikolai Maystorov and Tsanko Panov at the Academy "Jules Pasquin" - Sofia. He works in the field of painting and sculpture, as well as art furniture using acrylic paints, bronze, marble, high quality wood and unconventional materials. In 2001 he completed the frescoes of the St. In 2001 he completed the murals of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in the town of Apriltsi. He also worked on the iconostasis, the bishop's throne and the woodwork in the same church. Ivan Mankov currently lives and works in Apriltsi.
