Barrier wall in Rusaliski Pass

The late antique and medieval partition wall is in the current "Rusali Pass" under the ridge of the Balkan Mountains. The modern "Rusali Pass" is located in the Troyan-Kalofer part of the mountain, east of the Maragidik peak. The ancient "Rusali Pass" is located on the peak itself, and in the times of Rome and the Thracians the route of the road descended to the north along the ridge descending from the peak. It is the highest pass crossing the Central Balkan Mountains.
