Memorial to the Belchins who gave their lives in the wars for Bulgaria

The monument to those who gave their lives in the wars for Bulgaria in the village of Belchin was built and inaugurated on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the Independence of Bulgaria. It was erected as a sign of gratitude and appreciation to the people of Belchin who gave their lives in the wars for Bulgaria, defending the freedom and independence of their native land and homeland. The unveiling of the monument is another initiative of the Belchin Revival Foundation, established to contribute to the development of Belchin and the region as a cultural and historical centre of European type.
