National Petropavlovski Festival of Folk Art

In 1993, the municipalities of Lyaskovets, Veliko Tarnovo and Gorna Oryahovitsa launched the Petropavlovski Folk Art Festival, with the participation of folklore groups from all ethnographic regions of Bulgaria. It is held every odd year, on the eve of Petrovday, in the vicinity of the monastery of St. St. Peter and Paul Monastery, located above the town of Lyaskovets.
