Community centre "Zemedelec - 1899" - village of Kozarevets

The community centre "Zemedelec - 1899" was established in 1899 and the theatrical art originated in 1897 with the first theatrical performance - "Kara Tanas". The present community centre building was opened in 1972. The theatre troupe "Parashkevo" is a laureate of national festivals of artistic amateurism, awarded with numerous gold, silver and bronze medals. The following groups are currently functioning at the community centre: the Pensioners' Club "Zdravets", the Group for folklore "Avliga"; the Children's Group for literature; the Christmas Group; the Dance Group "Hey Bray" and the Creative Workshop "Made by Two Hands". The community centre has a library with about 13 000 registered library items.
