The community centre "Izgrev - 1926" was founded in 1926 by intelligent and patriotic young people who laid the foundation for cultural and educational and theatrical activities. In the 1960s, the first community brass band, dance group and women's folk choir were formed, which later grew into a mixed choir. In 1987, a women's vocal group was formed, which performed not only locally but also nationally and internationally. For many years, the community centre has had a buffo-synchronists and a theatre group, and currently there is a satirical performance group and a group for folk customs and traditions, with the customs "Yalova's Svatba", about which a one-hour film was filmed and broadcast on BNT in 2008, and "Balkandziiska Svatba". The library collection is in good and well maintained condition and the library is part of the Global Libraries network.
