Route track Govedartsi - hut Mechit

The route to the hut  Mechit starts from the Govedartsi track, which is located a few kilometers from the end of the village of Govedartsi, and you can take the wide carriage road, which is longer, or the direct and steep paths to the hut Mechit. If you take the narrower paths, you pass several bungalows on the right. The signposting to the hut is green but quite sketchy, so care should be taken.

The more you walk, the steeper the path becomes, which passes through a coniferous forest. The steep climb continues for about 30 minutes until you reach the track and head straight up it onto the main dirt road. Slowly and gently the path becomes more gentle and soon you are back on the dirt road with a fork and a sign pointing right to the hut Mechit, which is reached in about 10 minutes.
