Route track Malyovitsa hut - Malyovitsa peak

One of the main routes from hut Malyovitsa is the route to the wonderful Malyovitsa peak, which is among the highest in Bulgaria - 2729 m above sea level. It has a beautiful shape and from it you can see amazing views. The route to it starts from the hut Malyovitsa and is marked with red and white markings and runs southwards towards the opposite ridge.

The distance from the hut to the peak is just over 3 km, but there is also over 700 m of vertical drop, so the climb takes about one and a half to two and a half hours. The route is well-marked and runs almost due south only, making a break to the right just before the peak, then passing the Eleninite Lakes and coming out on the Malyovitsa peak.
