Resort complex Malyovitsa

Malyovitsa is a small mountain resort 40 km away from the Borovets resort complex. Resort complex Malyovitsa is located in the northwestern part of the Rila Mountain, 13 km from the village of Govedartsi and 27 km from the town of Samokov. There are several ski slopes and places for equipment rental in the area, as well as many cosy restaurants. Malyovitsa is a famous place for hiking and mountain climbing. Apart from Malyovitsa Peak, which is situated at 2727 m above sea level, there are several other peaks in the area, making it a popular place for rock climbing and hiking. The most beautiful lake on the Balkan Peninsula, the Scary Lake, is located near the resort.
