Sunrise over the Balkan

In 2016, Troyan Municipality launched a new initiative - "Sunrise over the Balkan", which it hopes will quickly become a tradition. The event starts in the late afternoon of June 30 and lasts until the early hours of July 1. "Sunrise over the Balkan", represents an attempt at a new interpretation of the popular among rock fans July Morning. Until now, the first July morning in Bulgaria has been welcomed only on the seashore, on Kamen Bryag, near Kavarna. The Trojan event offers an interesting alternative for all mountain and rock fans who can't or don't want to go to the sea. The organizers promise an unforgettable experience to all who wish to welcome the July sun under the monument "Arch of Freedom", on the ridge of the Troyan Pass. In case of bad weather conditions, the program will be held at the foot of the nearby ski slope, with the possibility of pitching tents at both locations.
