The hut Seven Rila Lakes is situated near the northeastern shore of the Fish Lake and the altitude at which the chalet is located is 2196 m. The hut is a massive two-storey building with a capacity of 92 beds with outdoor bathrooms. It is electrified by hydroelectric power, there is no water supply, heating is by solid fuel stoves, next to the hut there is a 300 m long ski slope equipped with a ski lift.
The Seven Lakes hut is most easily reached from the north, along the trail coming from the Pionerska hut, and when there is snow, the safe route is marked with stake markings and descends to the riverbed and runs up parallel to it, with a final, steep climb out to the old hut.
