Dobrila hut is located within the Central Balkan National Park on the saddle between Dobrila peak and Ambaritsa peak, at an altitude of 1 804 m. The hut borders two of the most beautiful reserves in the Central Balkan National Park - "Steneto" and "Stara Reka". The hut was built in 1925, is supplied with water and electricity and has a tavern. It also has 50 accommodation places, a tourist kitchen, a buffet and an indoor bathroom with bathrooms. Satellite TV and high-speed wireless internet can be used.
During most of the year, the chalet is easily accessible thanks to a ropeway from the town of Sopot. In winter, arrival at the chalet is by snowmobile attraction - a shuttle for 8-10 people per course from the second station of the rope tow.
The hut is the starting point for the Dermenska and Vasil Levski huts via the Ambaritsa, Kupena and Turtle peaks in winter or by passing them in summer via the Topalitsa locality.
