Tsarska Bistritsa Palace was built in the period 1898 - 1914 by Тsar Ferdinand I and is the most significant landmark located on the territory of the resort. Borovets. A few steps away from the palace, the Bistritsa River spills its waters, which have their source in the ice lakes at the foot of Mount Musala. The building itself is an original interpretation of Bulgarian architecture. Well preserved is the exceptional collection of hunting trophies of the royal family, testimony to the hunting passion of Tsar Boris III. Although the original rock garden created by Tsar Ferdinand I has not stood the test of time, unusual tree species for this altitude zone can be seen in the park. In 2009 the old stables were converted into a gallery.
