Danube River Festival

Тhe "Danube River Festival" is held  аnnually in the city of Belene, under the patronage of the mayor of the municipality of Belene. The festival program also includes a culinary competition "Danube Table", the purpose of which is to prepare traditional for the Danube region dishes, to revive and recall forgotten culinary traditions. Local people and visitors can participate in outdoor cooking activities by prior request, and the food is prepared on a fire. The festival program also includes fun games, concerts, a Persina bike tour and much more.
