The Alinsko Kale Fortress is located about 8 km northeast of the village of Alino and south of the village of Plana, on the hill to the north next to the Alino Monastery of the Ascension of the Lord. The fortification wall once enclosed an area of about 3 000 m2, and as of 2012 there are preserved walls up to 2.5 m high, as well as numerous treasure-hunters holes. The remains of the fortress date it to the 11th-12th centuries, and it probably lasted until around the 17th century. From the village of Alino about 8 km and 2 hours drive - the road goes out of the village of Alino in the north direction above the dam. The road is very bad and it is best not to drive, and then it continues in a northeasterly direction with many climbs and descents through ravines and bays into forest.
